Patriots Injury News Will Campbell Week 12 Injury [11/26 update: Placed on IR]

In many years of watching football? A lot. Doesn’t mean his knee is “shredded” and he’s done until next season. Stupid comment by you. Hell, Paul Pierce left a Celtics game in a wheelchair, we all know how that ended up.
And Paul pierce hammed it up. Still waiting for a name of a guy who got carted off, towel over head (likely in tears), who came back in time in relation for Campbell to play in the next 7/8 weeks.

Sometime, not always
Hogwash. There were ACL tears and MCL sprains diagnosed prior to MRI technology. The MRI determines the amount of damage. There are still plenty who tear an ACL who don't have an MRI and still have surgery.

Can't wait to see who they bring in this week for tryouts

He got pulled off the court on a ****ing wheelchair
What the actual **** is wrong with you?

Let AI be your guide.

Interestingly, the Pats initially rule him questionable. If you think it's an ACL for sure that wouldn't be the case. Dudes with MCLs get emotional as well because it could be the end of their seasons depending on severity. You just never know.

While it is uncommon, an NFL player can be carted off the field and still return to the same game
. However, a player being carted off usually indicates a serious injury that could lead to them missing the rest of the game. This happened recently with Patriots' offensive tackle Will Campbell and Bengals' wide receiver Tee Higgins on November 23, 2025, although Campbell was declared questionable to return while Higgins' status was unclear.

Examples of players who have been carted off and returned:
  • Tony Siragusa: In 2000, the Baltimore Ravens defensive tackle was carted off the field after a back injury, but after being diagnosed with a bruised spinal cord, he returned to the game with 51 seconds left in the first half.
  • Morgan Moses: In the same game as Will Campbell on November 23, 2025, the veteran offensive tackle for the Patriots left with an illness but later returned to the game.

Key takeaways:
  • Being carted off the field does not automatically mean a player is out for the rest of the game.
  • A cart is sometimes used as a precaution for a player who is in pain or could be suffering from a serious injury.
  • Players who are carted off may be able to return to play after being evaluated by medical staff.

We have to pin our hopes on McDaniels scheming things to minimize the suckitude of Lowe and Brown. Maybe they move Moses to LT - he's played there a very little bit.

Theresa a video in this thread. He gets rolled up on and twisted in a way your leg doesn't twist. He's out for the year. I hope I'm wrong. It's amazing how many footy pajamas Patsfans get their panties in a bunch over an OPINION. Get a ****ing grip people

Ummm...morgan Moses was not carted off the field today w a towel over his head

No but he did go to the locker room. Not the same sure, but as I said and MCL for a player is quite possibly a big issue as well. ACLs are pretty certain and none of the big reporters have said it is an ACL. Sometimes players have torn it when they think they haven't.

Can you just shut up already? No one wants to read your crap. We want to stay positive, hope Will can come back soon, and pray it does not hurt his career. Just pray for the best rather than making idiot torn off knee comments.

People in here are going apoplectic over an opinion. It's pretty pathetic. Look at the video. It doesn't look good for him coming back. Of course we all hope he will. But it doesn't look good. There's nothing wrong with saying that. I don't know why everybody's footy pajamas are in a bunch

You'd be better served deleting your posts than this feeble attempt at a walkback.

He did that because he was never injured, but because he had **** his shorts.
