Just asking, you have no issue with Bernard Pollard?

Of course he does. Fans like that only care if one of their own is hurt, but they make excuses for their own who partake in the same type of stuff. Wilfork is an AWESOME player, but he does have a history of shady hits. You gave about ten specific examples of this, yet the homers ignore it.

agree 100%. Wilfork has a history of questionable actions however he is a very talented player so you look the other way and hope to curb this tendency moving forward. I call Wilfork dirty, however I will still take him on my team b/c his fat ass can wreck havoc

Regardless of Wilfork's intentions, the reality is that he has a reputation of being a dirty player. He needs to realize this, and understand that his play is going to come under more scrutiny than that of other players. For him and his coaches, it's not about debating whether that label is deserved or not; it's about him coming to grips with that fact and also coming up with a plan to avoid being baited in to cheap but costly penalties while at the same time being just as energetic and effective on the field.

I agree. Wilfok is awesome and he is a great player, but to jump all over those who cite 10+ examples if Wilfork being fined for dirty hits is insane. The homers just wont stop!
