I remember people saying the exact same thing in Septmeber of 2007. I seem to recall that they each got much, much smarter in the month of October.

Theo has done such a great job revamping the entire minor league system from bottom to top. It's mystifying how he misses more than hits in the FA area. i think he should let the minor league system work, go for the 2nd tier type FA and/or rely more on trades. It's okay to sign FA's but we need some that have a bit of hunger left in them.
