Malcolm Mitchell Chris Hogan Julian Edelman stepped up today. In a day where we lost our two stud tight ends and Brady was off, we needed the wide receivers to step up. They did. They beat man coverage, won there one on one battles, made difficult catches in traffic. Malcolm Mitchell took over in the second half and made some clutch game winning catches. Hogan made a huge play late in the game, Edelman had a couple big 3rd down catches. Great collective effort

Yes they did - unit was the best group of Pats today.

If only we could've used an actual WR on the long throw downfield to Gronk--even Slater would've done just fine for that meaningless shot.

The play reminded me of a few years ago when Gronk finally returned from injury, only to have Brady lead him to a sprawling dive down the right sideline. That, of course, re-broke his mechanical arm and we lost him for the postseason.
