I especially hate it when the news anchors say "that guy said the N word".....well, you didn't say it but you still put it in my head. Just go ahead and say it or not.

Why?

For the same f***ing reason that people obsess over every pathetic, menial or otherwise foolish act performed by the media-propped "celebrity" du jour.

It's a travesty, but it's also human nature.

These print media folks are really the bottom feeders who can't make it on TV, or top of the line internet sites. The saying is paraphrased today to "Those can't do, work for newspapers".

So they don't know what 90% of Americans understand - - that the networks televising these games have 10 second delays and could choose to not show the emotional cursing. In the old days, they did. Today, they choose to hunt it down and use close ups for it.

High school dropout newspaper folk don't understand that, however.
