Why don't any of you have patience?

Alright, if you won't answer my question in good faith then I'm done talking to you. I'll go back to laughing at your inane comments.
I’m more curious how you think Wolf will build this team through the draft when he sucks at it… is every pick going to be in the top three of the first round?

Also tell me which team improved mightily from one season to the next, that did so without using free agency?

Yeah… you’d better go back to laughing maniacally at my posts instead of commenting. Stay in the shallow end of the pool where it’s safe.

What team greatly improved itself by signing players in FA this past off season? And I'm not talking about resigning their own players. I'm talking about bringing in new players from other teams. I'll hang up and listen.
Baltimore signed Derrick Henry who leads the league in rushing. A massive blunder by the rest of the NFL.

Green Bay signed Josh Jacobs another leading rusher and Xavier McKinney who leads the NFL in INT’s.

Vikings signed Sam Darnold.

Kirk Cousins in Atlanta.

Danielle Hunter in Houston. The team is 3rd in total team sacks.

One draft where the only good pick was the layup at #3... every other draftee blows.

Also Wolf stunk it up in free agency, blaming the market when he chose crappy players is disingenuous at best.
Wolf brought in the following:
Maye
Polk
Wallace
Robinson
Baker
Milton
Bell
Dial
Brissett
Gibson
Hooper
Hawkins
Takitaki
Osborne
Watts
Chuks

I’ve probably missed a few. But out of all those new players brought to the team, how many have had even a role player impact on this club. I’ll give you Brissett (starting qb, gave the rook time) and Maye. That’s it! Out of all those players. A whole list of ****ing scrubs. Wolf should be ashamed of himself. Absolutely ashamed. Not one impact free agent. An entire draft class beyond your first pick that cant do a damn thing.

This is a masterclass in how to demolish a football team happening right in front of our eyes. ****ing Packer way. **** that ****!

What about players that they resigned? Everyone leaves that out of the equation.

What players should he have brought in? Keep in mind, players can refuse to sign with a team in FA. It takes 2 to tango. A lot of players aren't going to want to go to a team with a rookie HC, OC and DC and a rookie QB (or a mediocre at best Brissett) and no WR or OL talent who have no playoff aspirations.

Who did he re-sign that ended up being a playmaker for us? Who has made a difference? I left thise guys out because he didn’t have to evaluate those guys. They were known commodities. He burned an entire draft class my guy. He’s lucky because he has at least 3 years before people start calling them busts but aside from Maye, not one impact player. Teams go from worst to better the next year all the time. Poor teams attract talent in free agency all the time. That’s Wolfs job, sell them on NE.

Henry.

Washington, Atlanta, Pittsburgh… every team in history that made a marked improvement from one season to the next did it through free agency and the draft.
every team that marked improvement did it through free agency and the draft?

And what are the other options?

Perhaps a poll should be made

Undrafted free agency is the only other way.

We are starting a 3-4 move toward winning the division and the test of signing free agents in 2024 is how much they contribute in the first half of the first season.

It does NOT take two. According to many posters, the patriots can have whoever they want at a price guessed at by posters. For many, they need to only have offered a bit more than others and since all that counts is money, these players would have signed with us. NOT
==========
I'm fine with criticizing that choice made in signing players. There were poor signings. It does NOT follow that serious improvements could have been made with offers by posters that might have been accepted or not.
========
The BOTTOM LINE is that many posters, as they have for the life of this board, believe that they do better signing better players and drafting better than those who have been hired by the patriots to do these jobs.

Who out of that list are you projecting to breakout and become contributors the back half of the season?

I guessed 3 or 4 wins ...
Why be a hypocrite now ... I will go down with the ship.

My interest in in 2025-2027). Surely it is early to guess that the rookies and those signed for 2025 (Gibson and Takitaki) won't be future contributors.

IMO, Godchaux was a best value signing of any of the extensions on Defense.
And what are you using to determine that? He doesnt apply any pressure. He hasn’t been a stalwart stopping the run. Many games he’s getting pushed right off the ball. Granted, he has been the best DL in stopping the run but thats really not saying much. He’s been avg.

If none of them can contribute or find a way to stand out on our team this year, what gives you hope that theyll contribute with this staff and this system in the future? Speaking primarily of the free agents.

Good Lord - that’s a bucket list that reads like a “who’s who in looserville”. Speaking of buckets, excuse me for a few minutes….
