Which team do you think would be more affected by cold (and potential for snow or freezing rain). Of the non-dome games played by Indy, only 1 was really played in any weather of note -- the Baltimore game. And Indy did pretty well. The others were in very mild climate cities. It was a little chilly in Oakland.
San Diego also hasn't had to contend with much all year. The Denver game was early in the year, and the coldest they've had to deal with is the 50s. The worse conditions may have been the night game v. Indy in SD.
Even though Indy is a dome team, my instinct is that if you only are thinking about the effect of the weather, we'd do much better playing in the cold against SD. Even though Indy plays indoors, the players live this part of the year in a cold climate and are more acclimatized. I think the cold will affect SD players more.
Obviously, this only matters if we win on Saturday, but I'm trying to figure out who to root for in the other game. Both are very unpleasant.
