New injuries aside, I see the following near-locks:

QB 2 -- Brady, Cassell
RB/FB 3 -- Maroney, Fauk, Evans
WR 5 -- Moss, Welker, Gaffney, Stallworth, Washington
TE 3 -- Watson, Brady, Spach
OL 7 -- Light, Mankins, Koppen, Neal, Kaczur, Hochstein, O'Callaghan

K/P/LS 3 -- Gostowski, Hanson, Paxton

DL 4 -- Seymour, Wilfork, Warren, Green
LB 7 -- Thomas, Bruschi, Seau, Vrabel, Izzo, Alexander, Woods
S 3 -- Harrison, Sanders, Meriweather
CB 3 -- Samuel, Hobbs, Gay

That's 40, leaving 5 more slots. I have to think there will be two more DBs and one more DL (I did NOT understand the recent game with 4 DL -- perhaps Smith was dinged up or in the doghouse?), so add

Wilson
Andrews
Smith

BB seems to have a great desire to have Eckel on STs, so health permitting he's #44.

How am I doing so far?

For #45, it would seem to come down either to a 6th DL (Thomas) or else Troy (Welker backup and emergency CB).

Seems like a valid question. Bump.

Belichick mentioned (in Education of a Coach, I believe) the importance of having depth on the defensive line in the Super Bowl, so I think Rashad Moore will be activated as the sixth DL, bringing the total up to 45.

I think Wilson or Spach could be inactive in favor of a sixth WR depending on whether or not they are thinking of spreading out the defense in the shotgun or if they want to have more max protection packages. I think that's about the only "difference" in your predictions compared to what I'd expect.

I would be absolutely shocked if Troy Brown weren't active for this game.
I would be equally shocked if Chad "Glass" Jackson WAS active.
