Week 8 Games
Patriots (5-1) at Steelers (5-2) 4:15PM ET,
obvious.

Redskins (3-3) at Bills (4-2) 4:05PM ET
Bills are in second place in the AFCE

Saints (5-2) at Rams (0-6) 1:00PM ET,
We have the Saints second round pick

Chargers (4-2) at Chiefs (3-3) MNF 8:30PM ET,
While I like Matt C. and Scott P and would like them to do well. It is in the teams best interest for the Raiders not to make the playoffs. Chargers give us a better shot at that.

Cardinals (1-5) at Ravens (4-2) 1:00PM ET,
Zero chance the Cards will be competing with the NEP for playoff seeding, Ravens might.

Colts (0-7) at Titans (3-3) 1:00PM ET,
Same as above plus we don't want the Colts to have the first pick overall.

Dolphins (0-6) at Giants (4-2) 1:00PM ET,
We don't want the first pick overall to be in the division. The Dolphins next GM might have a brain.

Jaguars (2-5) at Texans (4-3) 1:00PM ET,
For playoff seeding reason. Added bonus Jets have a Jax pick. The more Jax win the less it is worth to them.

Vikings (1-6) at Panthers (2-5) 1:00PM ET,
Vikings getting the first pick overall would be good.

Bengals (4-2) at Seahawks (2-4) 4:15PM ET,
For playoff seeding purposes.

Cowboys (3-3) at Eagles (2-4) 8:20PM ET,
We have the Eagles 7th round pick.

Browns (3-3) at 49ers (5-1) 4:15PM ET,
Zero chance that SF will be competing with NE for seeding. Browns is almost zero, but still a bit more than zero.

Lions (5-2)at Broncos (2-4) 4:05PM ET,
Okay Denver is very very close to zero. But still theoretically possible. Not possible for the Lions to affect NE playoff spot. And I really wanted to make it two weeks in a row that I got every game in.

Byes: Bears (4-3), Buccaneers (4-3), Falcons (4-3), Jets (4-3), Packers (7-0), Raiders (4-3)

i love these every week the only one i might change is the chiefs vs the chargers the raiders are preatty much screwed at this point and them having to fight past two teams tied at the top is harder then one

I'll take the Chiefs over the Chargers.

For seeding purposes.

Cowboys (3-3) at Eagles (2-4) 8:20PM ET,
We have the Eagles 7th round pick.

But that pick now belongs to someone else (the Pats have their own 1-4, the Saints 1, and the Raiders 2).

I'll switch:
Chiefs over Chargers because it's fun to watch them choke.
Browns over 49ers to make both divisions more competitive.
Broncos over Lions for same as above.

Otherwise my rooting interests are in agreement!

Chargers (4-2) at Chiefs (3-3) MNF 8:30PM ET,

Gotta disagree here - the Raiders pick is less important to me than seeing Cassel do well. Especially after seeing what the Colts are going through this year - I think we have to be grateful we had Cassel waiting in the wings and not Curtis Painter.

I'd personally love to see the Chiefs knock off SD and make the playoffs themselves. Forget the Raiders.

Otherwise I'm on the same page for all the rest.

Cassel's biggest problem right now, other than the health of his teammates, is the head coach.

Ummmm The Cardinals are in the NFC....not the AFC ,So its below zero chance,The St. Louis Cardinals have zero chance as well

Right now Buffalo and Cincinnati would have playoff spots over the Jets and Ravens. I'll root for both teams along with the Steelers, after this week, to keep them out.

A less than zero percent chance?

You sure about that, Professor?

If only for Haley's sake I'd love to see the Chiefs tank. But Matt and Scott deserve better and the better they make that QB trade look the more value Hoyer and Mallet build...

going with the Chiefs, Texans and Vikings. Agree with all the rest.

The Patriots control their destiny now. As long as they win it makes no never mind what any other team does.

Agreed, keep the Bills winning, except for when they visit Foxboro, to keep the Jets out.

It worked for BB in talking about the draft ("We have less than zero interest in trading into the top ten.").

Haley does drive me nuts, and the one positive of their 0-3 start is that it seemed inevitable he'd be out.

But I'd rather see Cassel succeed for many reasons, including the one you mention, but also on a personal level.
