I personally think there is not a threat, but if I had to pick one, I will say Buffalo.
  • Stout D
  • Raw, But Taltented QB
  • Playmakers on Offense
I feel like I am more of a fan of Tyrod Taylor than some (I think he has some skills). I don't trust Tannehill and the Jets are just... the Jets.

I don't see how you don't pick the Jets now that Fitzpatrick is back. He's at least a competent QB, the have a very dynamic receiving corps and big play threats, stout OL, stout DL, and a stingy defense.

Has to be the Jets, for the reasons Kontra stated, not sure Taylor can survive a season.

Roger Goodell, in the AFCE or any other division.

I really DO have a smart phone. It initially auto-corrected division to disease.

Who can argue with that?

Jesters now that they've re-signed Fitz. He's not a top tier guy, but he can play. That D is going to be even better than last season. And they have given the Pats fits the past two seasons especially.

I would have said Buffalo, especially since the brothers will both have their hands on a very talented (on paper) defense. But the whole discipline factor keeps them out of the top spot. Wrecks' teams are just too hot headed and always wind up shooting themselves in the proverbial foot too much. And I fully expect to see a sideline blow up between the brothers at some point. I think they still challenge for a wild card simply because there really is top tier talent at various positions on that roster. I don't expect the D to underwhelm again this season.

The Dolphins. Sneaky bassids, especially with Gase on the coaching staff. His coaching produces winners.

I wanted to say Buffalo, but no. The JESTS are always a threat with Fitzpatrick under center, but they seem to have a way of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory at the most inopportune time, so for me, it's the Dolphins, based on the new additions to the coaching staff.

tyrod stinks.
I would not say he stinks. He can stress a D with his mobility, has exceptional throw on the run skills and he actually throws a very nice deep ball. He has the capability of winning some ball games for a team. With that said, I do believe he's still a better back up than starter though. Just my opinion.

Really? I haven't been paying attention. How/when did that happen? If so, that sucks.

I think the Jets are. They have the best QB after Brady, some good offensive weapons, and a very good defense.

Is this the thread where posters come to piss their pants about the division?

Go look at the jests first 6-7 weeks they'll be done by mid-season and unlike the Pats they don't have the GOAT coming as the calvary

"Goodell" and "Injuries" have already been posted, so I'll just say that I don't think any of the three is a real "threat' unless they go 1--3 or 0--4 under Jimmy...then it's anybody's guess if you figure that 11 wins will be needed to win the Division. 10--2 or 11--1, is a lot to ask even of Brady with three road division games left...

If that happens, then I'll say the Jets until they prove otherwise; if Fitz gets off to a slow start or if he gets hurt and they have to rely on Geno then I'd go with the Bills.

I voted jets for one reason only...seems woody finally got lucky in his coaching hunt and wound up with a quiet, smart, professional x's and o's kind of guy. Not sure how that happened but hey even a stopped clock is right twice a day. So while I might argue that the bills are more talented I just know rex's brand of foosball is no threat.

Who is pissing their pants? The Pats are head and shoulders above the rest of this division when healthy. The OP asked a question. People are answering it.

Jets. No team is a real threat to take the division. The Jets are the most likely team to beat us healthy though.

Respect. I actually like the thread. We have had some tough battles with each of the teams. Don't get spoiled because we've won the division so many times. Both the Jets and Dolphins beat the Pats last season. The second Bills game was not exactly a breeze either. And before you talk to me about injuries, bear in mind what it took to beat the Jets BOTH times in 2014 with a healthy, Super Bowl (eventually) team.

With that said, NE should win the division again. But I don't think it's outlandish to discuss which team might give the Pats a run for at least part of the season. I'll even be bold enough to predict the Jesters challenge for a wild card. They did last season up until the final week.

Just wait they'll be here
