I know the patriots have a ton of super impressive records but for some reason the one im most torn about seeing broken is 8 AFCC games in a row. That just boggles the mind that for nearly a decade they finished as no worse then a top 4 team in the league. So i know its not going to happen but i can not explain the joy i would take in Houston knocking them out this weekend because right now KC is at 6 in a row. After that i will just echo others i like the lions. The way they play is fun to watch and easy to root for. Watching clips of some of thier locker room stuff its like aw i remember when i actually liked the team i root for. Good times.

DET is a hellhole. Lions haven't won anything in 68 years. My buddy lives there and loves the Lions.

When I lived in Florida, I became good friends with a guy who was born and raised in Detroit. He became a Patriot fan because Brady played for Michigan.

Every football season he used to say "my Lions are nothing but heartbreak. They haven't won anything since 1957". Unfortunately, Joe died a couple of years ago and never got to see his Lions become such a great team.

My wife and I keep in contact with Joe's wife and she's rooting for Joe's Lions and so are we.

Basically they outcoached us in that game. The goal for each coach was to lose the game without being too obvious about it. Theirs was better at his job - smarter - than ours. I guess we shouldn't have been too surprised.
