Even in years when they've been loaded with talent, at least one UDFA rookie has managed to stick (e.g., Gutierrez in 2007).

So who will it be this year?

Re: Which UDFA is most likely to make the roster?

Tarpinian takes Tracy Whites spot.

I'm rooting for Jeremy Ross though, he's a funny guy.

Edit: He's also a sick KR/PR.

I voted for Tarpinian, though I doubt he ever sees the field as a LB.
Maybe if he drops a dozen lbs, he could find snaps as a backup SS.

All of the others are either not nearly good enough, or are poor fits,
or have too many bodies ahead of them.

Other. Does not mean he is with us yet.

I honestly don't know enough about any of these guys to offer an informed opinion on them.

But it seems to me there are two places where an undrafted free agent would potentially have the best chances of making the roster. First would be as a somebody whose real position is ST, even though he's listed as something else; think Matt Slater, or prior to him guys Larry Izzo or Larry Whigham. The other would be OLB, where the number of players that start camp on the depth chart ahead of them is less than it is at other positions.

Silvestro will be a OLB convert. We need bodies there and he has ST experience. He's also use to dropping in coverage.

I don't see any of the UDFA's making this team, I think it more likely the final roster will be filled out with veteran free agents.

Silverstro has just a good a chance as anyone and jeremy ross seems like our type of wr in the mold of branch/brown.

I'll go with Tarp and Ross.....

I voted for Ross, I think he has a pretty good chance of making the practice squad due to his versatility.
