Alright, so obviously it's not a given that it will happen, but it's interesting to note that it has happened in the last six years (and four of the six years a player had 3+ Tds).

Here's who has scored multiple Tds in past years..........

2011 vs DEN: Gronk, 3 TDs
2012 vs HOU: S.Vereen 3Tds
2013 vs IND: Blount, 4 Tds & S.Ridley, 2 Tds
2014 vs BAL: D.Amendola, 2 Tds
2015 vs KC: Gronk, 2 Tds
2016 vs HOU: D.Lewis, 3 Tds

It's not always the most obvious candidates either. Vereen and Lewis weren't really prime candidates when they scored their three TDs.

Dwayne Allen

(I kid)

Depends who we play.

KC gets Gronk. TEN gets Burkhead (or Cooks if no Rex), BUF gets...Gronk, again.

Gronk. No Eric Berry, Brady makes them
pay.

I'll take Brandin Cooks

I rather be remembered for 180 receiving yards than if I scored 2 TDs.

Put me down for another Hogan the hero day.

I'd say it's most likely to be Lewis as a triple-threat running/receiving/returning.

Then, Burkhead (if healthy) since he can both run or catch for a TD. I'd say Gronk is fairly close behind Burkhead. Amendola could sneak in there, though.

Perhaps somewhat longer odds for Cooks, or for White/Hogan/Mitchell to get two (assuming the latter three are healthy), although I'd love to see Cooks get loose to take a couple long bombs to the house.

Odds seem pretty high against any of the "outliers" like Dorsett/Allen/Hollister, etc. getting one TD, much less two. But then, this is the post-season when "surprise!" offensive packages may be revealed.

A lot really seems to depend on Hogan and/or Mitchell being able to play (or, possibly, Britt getting a lot further along in his studies) in order to restore more of the intermediate range portion of the passing attack.

Burkhead if healthy. He seems to be settling in as a solid goal line back

All of em

Next game, it’s time for Cooks to start cookin’

Begining in wk-14 @.MIA, Cook's catch rate has been abysmal ... 15 of 39 tgts = 38.4% ... although there have been several near-misses while he seems to have been getting a lot of extra attention from DBs. In fairness, he's also produced 228 receiving yards (15.2 ypc) and 2 of his 7 TDs in that span. And, meanwhile, the productivity of Brady's other tgts has unsurprisingly increased.

I expect that to continue until some hapless DB gets nervous about one or another of those "other" tgts and takes one wrong step.
