Which opposing player had the greatest single-game performance against the Patriots?

O.J. Simpson's 250 yards rushing in 1973?
Others?

The one I remember was Josh Allen in the 2022 WildCard game in 7 degree frigid temperatures
Allen was 21/25 for 308 yds and 5 TD
He also had 6 carries for 66 yds

Both of OJ's game against the Patriots, which allowed him to surpass the 'unbreakable' 2,000-yard single-season barrier.
Those were the 2nd & 4th most rushing yards in a single game over the slashing running back's career.

When you have a game named after you - "The Peyton Hillis Game" - that has to be on a short list.

Greatest that I can remember was Ronnie Brown in the 'Wildcat Game'
(Another game so big it has its own name)
Four rushing touchdowns plus another passing
Pats were 12½-point favorites.

But the biggest was before my time, when Keith Lincoln single-handedly destroyed the Pats in the 1963 AFL championship.
-> 13 carries for 206 yards and a touchdown
-> 7 receptions for 132 yards and a TD
-> That's 338 yards of offense on 20 touches, about 17 yards per touch

I remember a game vs Marino in early 94 where Drew and Dan dualed for almost a combined 1000 yards but Marino had more TDs than Drew. Impressive passing by both in an era that didn't throw quite like that as often as now.

Keyshawn Johnson had 194 yards week 1 of the 1999 season. How the defense had trouble against Tom Tupa was very troubling.

Knowshon Moreno somehow had 224 yards on the ground in 2013.

9/4/94: Dan Marino, 23-42, 473 yards, 5 TD, 1 INT

I think I'll go with Keith Lincoln.

Moreno was pretty good. Did he have injury issues.

Kareem Hunt went off for about 250 all purpose yards and 3 TD against us in that season opener debacle in 2017. Tyreek Hill had himself a game too.

Our old buddy Wes Welker introduced himself to the Patriots in that weird MNF loss @ Miami in 2004. Over 200 yards in punt and kick returns

That game was like the Giants Super Bowl win against Buffal, where Belichick told their defense that if Thurman Thomas ran for 100 yards the Giants would win. Kelly didn’t kill thrm and the Giants won. In the Denver game Moreno ran for 225, but Manning didn’t kill them and the Patriots won.

I remember the Priest Homes, LT, Ricky Williams trifecta in 02
I was at that game against the Chiefs and it seemed like Holmes didn't even get touched until he already gained 5 yards. Brady pretty much single-handedly kept us in that game. I remember a long pass to Patten in OT that got Adam in range to finally end that one.

He was okay until his ACL injury, but nothing that really "wowed" you. Only had one 1,000 yard season in his career which was in 2013 with Denver.

Never really thought much of it since someone had to move the ball with the Dolphins. The first game against the Jets in 2007 showed us he was in for a massive season.

Pats were linked to Priest Holmes since the Robert Edwards injury, but nothing ever happened. I'm really surprised the Pats and other teams slept on him and he signed a cheap contract with the Chiefs in 2001. He ended up leading the league in rushing that season. The guy was a scoring machine and on pace to have 3 straight season with 20+ TD's before inuring his knee.

One of my favorite backs of the 2000's.

I know it's not on the list, but Ray Rice's 159 yards and 2 TDs in the playoffs still sticks with me. 83 yards on the first play from scrimmage. *grumble grumble*... Manning's second half comeback in the 2006 AFCCG...Foles... The post season games are the ones that I remember the most.
