As good as NE has been in this 18-year run, NE almost never sweeps the AFCE. In fact, I think the team only has something like 3-4 sweeps in its history, one of those coming in 2007, of course.

So no matter how optimistic people are, it is totally reasonable (and even likely) to expect a divisional loss.

So who is it gonna be to?

I'm going out on a limb and I'll say Jets with an upset. The next 7 games are going to be competitive. I think we'll lose 3 of them. We finish 13-3 and get #1 seed.

@NYJ- upset L;
Browns-W
@Ravens-L
@EAGLES-W
Cowboys-W
@Texans-L
Chiefs-W
on to Cincinnati for W
Bills-W
Dolphins-W

Jets have a great defense. The offense is going to struggle yet again. I could see them losing this one.

Unfortunately I'm feeling the same way, but I'm hoping the D is too strong for Darnit

The Jete have a good, not great defense. Their offense is average. Patriots will be favored for good reason but it should be a contest.

Hard to see them losing in the division this season. The other teams are poor and I see BUF as overrated.

To beat the Jets, the OL has to give Brady time to connect with WR's...I think the running game might be non existent....

Might be a low scoring game....

I think the Jets winning yesterday was great - for the Pats! They will take this game seriously and should be able to sneak out a win.

Looking how other teams have played so far, the players coming off IR for the second half and the absolutely dominating defense I feel like we are trending towards an undefeated season.

Sweep it is.

16-0 very possible with our defense I don't expect any late comebacks to be allowed as long as our O can draw the distance on the score board, about perfect of a football team as you can have on top of our special teams, but our O has to click and be able to score the only thing that's holding this team back from truly being perfect because if they do wheres the exploit?

This coming week is the best chance for the Pats to lose a division game. I don’t think they lose in prime time to the Jets. It will be a rock fight though.
Nice BB got to see Darnold this week to shape the defensive game plan.

I don’t know man, I’m not sure I see a team with this defense going almost half a season barely over .500

I don't think Miami will win, but week 17 could be a phoned-in sh** show for both teams if NE's seeding isn't dependent on the outcome and the Miami squad already has quit for the offseason. Strange stuff could happen if we're playing the bottom of the roster across the board.

The next 3 games are going to be really tough.

The Jets are frisky now and at home on Monday night and have a decent defense.

Cleveland and Baltimore both have bye weeks to get ready for us.

The injuries on offense are becoming a real concern.

We can't count on the defense to keep bailing us out.

Yeah for a change they come north in the cold. They’ll be wicked motivated to play the Pats the end of December to avoid that first overall pick.

Could really only be the next game. It won’t be home vs Bills or Fish.
