Or will you?

They went DEEP into the season unlike all (most of) the other teams..delaying surgeries ect so i am not worried...yet...but are you?

I'm already worried. Considering the framegate distraction (especially if Brady is suspended), injuries (both new ones plus guys still mending from last season) and turnover (CB, DT, OG), I'll be surprised if this team has a strong start to the season. I certainly hope I'm proven wrong. It's hard to accomplish what needs to be done in the preseason under conditions like this.

This is completely anecdotal, but it seems that after every Superbowl win there are a higher incident of injuries. Perhaps there is not a long enough time to recover from the previous season and any surgeries have not completely recovered.

AFAIK none of the injuries have been truly significant, correct? Nothing that would knock anyone out for the season, or at least for more than 1-2 games? The only injury I can think of like that is Derby, and I don't think we even found out what that injury was.

I can't speak for everyone but I feel a significant amount of folks are only looking forward to the next chapter of the defamegate saga on Wednesday.

I personally have barely been paying attention to camp. Brady's plight has been pretty much the only story I've been following. This is what Goodell and his lackeys have reduced me to. I could ignore it but I care too much about Tom.

Defamegate has actually made me care much less for the NFL in general. If this is how the top brass continue to conduct themselves it may be time to find other distraction on Sunday afternoon. Park Avenue should never be ok with ostracizing an entire franchise, it's disgusting and purely agenda-driven.

It's not the severity of the individual injuries as much as guys not getting the work they need team-wise to build chemistry and timing. Don't be surprised if things are real ugly for a while.

Frankly, I think the Patriots are being cautious with all the players at this point. Besides, how many roster spots are really open? Six or seven tops. We know who is going to make this team for the most part. There is always a surprise or two, including a big trade. Blount might be that guy this year if he is not out there earning his spot with the looks of this RB group.

Otherwise, there's no point in Edelman, Branch, Lafell, Scott Chandler, etc to risk anything right now.

Belichick has said in the past that the first four weeks of the regular season are like camp now, and sees that as the period when timing and the full playbook is introduced. Last season sure looked like that. The Raiders game was about the most boring, unimaginative, vanilla offense and defense we've seen. The Dolphins opener in 2014 sucked, too. Everyone on this board went nuts over how awful they looked.

The spanking in KC was a big wake up call, but also led to the biggest win of the regular season in Cincinnati.

My feeling is that they need to get a good look at the new guys to make their roster selections and head into the regular season looking for 2-2 in the first four weeks. After that, it's payback time for all this off-season BS.

Most major has been Blount...but he will be fine

Guys like Gronk, JE and Brady all have the connection i think regardless if they practice together...now others not so much...Lafell MAY be getting there...but not on their levels

Not going to worry about it.

As long as Brady is out on the field week 1 I'm simply not concerned about anyone else. They can struggle out the gate and start 2-2 for all I care, after all they've won two superbowls doing so.

"It's not life-threatening."

I love BB's commentary (paraphrasing), "When you play deep into the post-season into January and February like we always do...."

I'll start worrying after the bye week

How many key players have we lost for the season compared to other playoff teams?

How many have we lost for half the season compared to other playoff teams?

IMHO, these are the tests of how well we are doing injury-wise.
