I read in another thread that there wouldn't be any more moves over the weekend (I assumed that meant today as well). However, they cut caldewell, so I was wondering if we might hear about Elgin before tomorrow.

Is there a time limit on how long it takes to clear waivers?

24 hours, I believe.

24 hours, but after that it's up to the team and the player's agent to work out a deal, which can take a while if the player has multiple offers.
