I wonder how much the extra team option year will factor into their thinking when contemplating a trade out of the first.

We will try and trade the pick im sure unless a top WR falls or Vaccaro

This is becoming too unanimous. BB likes to keep us guessing. My new prediction: They trade their entire draft to move up to the 10 spot and draft a kicker.

First pick SHOULD be a DE or CB.

Then most of the board will go into panic mode.

I agree. They NEED WR help bad but i don't think any WR will come in an help in a big way. DE or CB can IMO

When an angry Gostkowski shows up at your door, you have no one to blame but yourself. :snob:

My wild crazy prediction is that the Pats will used a second round pick they pick up from trading Ryan Mallet to Cleveland to draft the best WR available. What you say the Browns don't have a second rounder? They will by tomorrow when they trade Branden Albert to Miami.

It isn't likely to happen, but I think if Lombardi loves Mallet like he is rumored to, it is far more likely than some think.

Werner, Sylvester Williams, Hayden, Rhodes, Trufant, Elam may be available at 29. This is NOT a weak draft for picks 25-60. There definitely will be first round rated talent available at 29.

If this draft is ALL about wide receivers, then we will trade down and pick 2 wide receivers before the end of the 3rd. We might do that, even without a trade down.

Personally, I don't see us picking a DT or DE in the top 100 unless he is picked in the top 35.

In case you were wondering:

Patriots PR department estimates based on last year's NFL draft that the Patriots will be on the clock at No. 29 tonight at 10:45pm.

They'll trade down and pick up and additional 2nd and 3rd. Hopefully the 2nd is an early one.

I expect a couple of move downs, the first to philly at 35 and then to St Louis at 46, with Philly picking up a qb and the rams Eddie Lacy

I don't think I've ever been kicked in the nuts so hard it was ruled a touchback. Should be interesting.

?

Browns don't have Albert.

Kind of split on this one. Last year we saw an UNbelichickian move by trading up snaggin 2 D players. I can see them pickin in 1st round or trading down to maybe 2nd, 3rd. If they pick in 1st rd they will probably pick around 11 o'clock'ish.

I doubt this but if we trade up big I think it's for Star L. Or Dion Jordan but expect us to stay put n draft Dj Hayden or Robert Woods or trade down and dominate 2-4 rounds

You know the idea of trading up sounds crazy, but stay with me. Everyone wants to trade down so values trading down will be lower (supply and demand - Adam Smith lives in the draft)

So the value is going up and be like Dan Akroyd and Eddie Murphy buying OJ futures in trading places.

Or not.

Good movie.

im not bothered if we trade down if no one 'elite' has fallen but i'll be pissed if someone worthy is sat there and we trade down and take a WR from duke in the 2nd
