And it's irresponsible. We're all fans and subject to deep emotions about the team we love. But, this crap has gotten ridiculous. Every time someone is out for a 1 minute piss break, people here jump to the idea that the guy is going on IR for the year, if not his career is over.

I'm guessing he was grieving enough not to have his head in the game, and it was a coach's decision NOT to say "Cowboy up; your team needs you."

That would explain coming to the stadium for the game and then not suiting up. If, for example, Andrews had been hurt, Stork would have found a way to play.

Those are the kind of coaches you not only want to play for.....but run thru a wall and eat glass for.

Because 'coach's decision' puts more of the heat on the coaches to explain it. 'Personal issue' means most people think something is wrong with the player and got sent home for being a bad guy is the usual assumption.

As Fencer said, if Andrews were injured, or not 100%, the coach's decision might have been for Stork to play.
