Re: Patriots inactives: no Faulk

exactly my first thought ...not a good omen

Put Soldier back to pick up blitzes This is better. I love Kevin but he will never play again. That has been obvious for quite a while.

I'm allright with Faulk out. We need to run effectively today.

Re: Patriots inactives: no Faulk

Don't like what?

Don't like Faulk not playing. I get logically why, but I also got logically why Troy Brown didn't play in 42. That didn't sit right with me, and neither does this.

Re: Patriots inactives: no Faulk

Ridley better channel Fred Biletnikoff and load his hands up with so much stickum he'd stay on the ground if he went into a three point stance.

Re: Patriots inactives: no Faulk

Sad for K. Faulk, personally. No real surprises here though.

Please just get him his 4th ring... the potential 4-ringers are dwindled to a precious few

So wait, Polite, the fullback is active? Interesting.

I think he's been active every game since he was signed...he is very useful at the goal-line.

Do you want to win the game or just play hugsies?

Faulk hasn't factored into a single victory this season. No point in keeping a guy active out of sentimentality.

Apparently, the coaches are not worried that our RBs won't be able to block back there.

So Silvestro over Brace. Assume that's for special teams. Interesting that Markell Carter couldn't beat out Silvestro on special teams or as a potential rusher.

Ridley over Faulk. I'm good with that. Ridley has been electric at times, and Woodhead has been doing a better job picking up the blitz.

...and both teams pretty healthy. This shows the benefit of the two-week break. Good for the league hype machine, good for the Super Bowl city, and good for putting the best players on the field.
