I think you can make the case that the best team in the NFC wasn't even the sixth best team in the NFL. I can't remember it being that lopsided, even in the Dallas, San Francisco, etc. days.

I'm just glad the Patriots play in the major league.

My wife asked me how the Bears did so well all year only to play so bad tonight. I told her that when the JV teams all play each other, the best look great. When they get the chance to strut their stuff against the varsity, they look very, well, sucky. That is what you saw tonight. Any of the AFC playoff teams beat the bears tonight save for maybe the Chiefs. However, I do think the Jags and Broncos beat them and the Titans give them a run for their money as well.

McNabb and Hasselback put on decent performances in their SB's. I agree-it's amazing Grossman got this far,it really is. The NFC must have suked this year even more than we realized.

The Afc Is So Far Ahead Of The Nfc Dont Expect To See The Bears In The Game Next Year.

Who is going to win the NFC next year? Dallas seemed in decent shape, but a rookie coach makes it a hard gig. Assuming the Eagles can avoid a quarterback controversy, they came together pretty nicely at the end of the year, but I don't think they have what it takes either.

It's really wide open. I guess you have to like the Saints and the Seahawks, although an awful lot can change with the draft. Wouldn't it be great to play in the NFC next year? It's wide open.

The best QB in the NFC is Brees, so my guess is NO will make it.

odds:

1. NO
2. Dallas
3. St Louis
4. Philly

Got to agree with our own Bob George, Grossman is one of the worst ever QBs in a Super Bowl.

It's good to support your guy, but sometime you need to have the balls to say thanks Rex, (Drew), but we're going with the other guy.

Brian Griese is a good enough QB to at least not implode in a big game.

After the Pats game, he should have made the switch.

I hope Grossman doesn't say he should have taken practice more seriously

this was a down year in the NFL. Even the good teams were not that good.
