Wes Welker. BEAST.

It was a cover 4. The blame goes to both Revis and Eric Smith. Wes split the coverage.

Fair point. I think it was Revis responsibility to handle the underneath route, and he may have been biased towards such routes knowing he had help over the top.

I thought it was a pretty even matchup between the two. Revis had him locked down at some points, but then on others Welker clearly shook him free. The fact Brady didn't go there means nothing.

Exactly my point... Wes was good Revis was good. But revis's job was to shut down wes and he didn't. So it shows how good welker is going up against the best and still being very productive

You know, this Revis vs Welker stuff is a little lame. It's the Jets D against teh Patriots O. Welker is part of the Patriots O and and he had 124 yards against the Jets D. I don't really care if he had - 20 "against Revis".

That was a great battle between Revis and Welker today. You'd only tip it in Welker's balance as his big play put the Patriots in a wonderful position.

He's a hell of a corner.

Revis gets to play by his own rules but I'll give him his props for chasing Welker down. He's got some serious burst.

Wes Welker continued his stellar start to the 2011 campaign by gaining 124 yards on five receptions. He now has 740 yards receiving on the season, the most ever by a player in his team's first five games.

It's even more impressive when you consider that Jets wide receivers as a whole have a total of 573 receiving yards.
