Looks like Jets should win their next two. With the way the oline looked today I wouldn't be surprised with with Pats going 0-2. They should take nothing for granted at this point. Jets game may be for the division as scary as it sounds.

My hope is this team does it differently than the past 4 SB teams. 2010 Packers could be the model. Hot start, lot's of injuries lead to a tough end to season and then get healthy and hot in playoffs.

The 2010 Packers, 2011 Giants, and 2012 Ravens all sucked down the stretch and backed into the playoffs. I remember the Ravens looking totally done after the regular season. Then the playoffs happened.

I think it unlikely but not impossible. Frankly get Gronk back for Jets game and win that and beat the phins on the road and they will have confidence and momentum at the right time. Won't matter if they lose next 2 if that happens, they may not have a bye but will be confident, battle tested, and hopefully as healthy as they can be

Those plays weren't luck. On the blocked punt we left a player completely unblocked and the interception was forced into double coverage. Usually when you throw goal line interceptions they go 99 yards because there's only the QB and a few OL (that your DL will block) to get around to go the distance.

The Titans put up 42 on Jags but also gave up 39. With 5 TD passes given up to Bortles.

Look, I don't think losing next two is likely, but Jets winning next two does look likely. It's not whether Pats can lose 4 in a row or win 4 in a row. Its the NFL, its one game at a time. Sometime posters here have gotten so used to winning they forget that. They could just as easily win super bowl as 10-6 wild card as win out and lose in second round at home at this point. For this team, this year, health and momentum are the most important thing. This isn't last years team, they will need to win another way

I think its gronk inc's call. no one is saving him. Hightower practiced with a knee brace for an mcl sprain but gronk didnt . Shows how they are approaching it.
This week will be a lot of chatter and calling out of gronk if he doesnt practice wednesday.
