Every "non-expert" I've talked to since it was known that the Texans had the #1 overall has said that they think the Texans will try to deal that pick because of their number of needs. Now ESPN.com reports this like it's breaking news. I quess the only thing I'm surprised by is that the didn't make it an insider article.

i thoguht espn was always doing the opposite, reporting that the Texans were dead set on taking Reggie bush..

complete waste of a pick if htey take him in my mind..

It would be very stupid to draft a player of noe of your better positions. They really don't have a runningback weakness. If they do draft Bush, I think they are a doomed franchise and they really don't get it.

They could trade the first pick for multiple picks this year...and next year. That is called value if you pick right on most of the picks.

The Texans have MANY needs. LT, RT, LG, RG, WR, TE, DT, RE, LE, LOLB, MLB, ROLB, CB, FS, SS, I could go on...but...
