DRAFT Welcome to New England - Edge Gabe Jacas!

4.65 40 with a 1.59 split for a guy that's 6'4 260? That's freakish.
THIRTY Bench reps, means he's also strong as an Ox.

Sure It might be useful to see additional numbers but he's got the most important traits.

FAST, STRONG, with Violent Hands.

I think Jacas can turn into a PLUS starter for us at Edge.
I agree with all of that. My point was skipping half of the RAS testing means the RAS score does not correlate to anything.

4 year player with a grown up body, so no need to have a long break-in period.

Love the pick. Needed an edge, and got one that had 11 sacks last year. Also was a captain. Pats have done what they hoped they could, Edge & OT in the first 2 rounds.

I’m still hopeful for a TE and a LB and then maybe a G and a RB. And I’m not ruling out a P.

And 3 FF in each of his last two seasons. Seems like another lucky fall that we made a move up to scoop.

Excellent draft so far, given the late round positioning.

Taking athletic bags early is the way to go. Theres only so many of them on the planet.

Shame they had to give up both 4s and a 6, but I can live with it.

I am not at all complaining about the picks they gave up.

This is going to sound like a backhanded compliment, but anyway, here goes: if only we had traded picks to move up so we wouldn't get saddled with J'Lynn Polk, Caeden Wallace, and Layden Robinson. We didn't get caught with our pants down this year.

They traded down and let SD have Ladd McConkey so they could take Polk and Baker.

[But then, not making that trade would have increased the likelihood of prolonging the Mayo error, so. . . .]

I know, what I meant was they should've traded up if they didn't like McConkey.

Favorite value pick since Gonzo at 17. Love it.
