I think Francis will be active.

Some bodies can't handle NFL contact and stay healthy. Right now the available evidence warrants calm concern. Sample size is way too small as yet to draw any conclusions.

He's suffered 2 injuries. The first of which - hamstring pull/strain - was a non-contact injury. The other was a guy rolling up on his foot.

There is no "available evidence" to suggest that Vereen can't handle "NFL contact."

true, its definitely concerning though that for the 2nd season in a row he cant get onto the field..
