During hail marys I always thought there should be a receiver or 2 hanging out within 2 yards of the target to catch any ricochets. It was incredibly lucky, but Noah hanging out in the back may have been by design.

Plus it was a 65.9 air yards, which is the 2nd longest in the last 9 seasons from when NextGenStats started tracking it (Mayfield 66.4yds 2021).

Daniels has been on a roll for 3 years now. The Hail Mary was a great long ball. However, it was 5 yards short and required a huge slice of luck to get the score. Just have a feeling that injuries and scheming will gradually slow him down. Just look at Rodgers if he plays exactly the same level of mediocre football but their kicker makes a few kicks and they're 5-3 the media will be going on about the great Aaron Rodgers but exactly the same level and 2-6 he's washed and they're a dumpster fire, he's been the same guy for about 4 seasons now.

Bingo. Last time Rodgers threw for 300 yards was December 2021. His starting WRs yesterday were Davante Adams and Garrett Wilson, who was covered by 4'9" Marcus Jones all day.

No way it was 5 yds short. Guy who deflected it was straddling the 1 and jumped up and away from the EZ, hitting it prob just under the 2 at high point. Imho, based on trajectory, that thing for sure was landing in the EZ if not touched.

Giants I bet are wishing they had massively overpaid the Pats for the 3rd pick right about now. Not that the Pats would have taken it but you can look around the NFL and see why, if there is a legit grade A QB prospect at the top of the draft you need to get him.

Keep knocking Greatness the only knock on Daniels is his body type. He checks the boxes in everything else. Also you need a little luck on this game to win ask Brady and Mahomes.

Thats a pretty good knock and I don't see the same type of play from Daniels as I do Maye as far as processing the field. I agree, scheme will start to catch up to him and he has been dinged up a couple times this year already.
