That missed facemask was OUTRAGEOUS! Crap like that needs to be made reviewable.

LOL

"All scoring plays must be reviewed"

Except for this type of scoring play.

"Integrity"
The NFL engineers games when they see fit. Thats why you have penalties like hands to the face rubbing out a 3rd and 20, instead of being a 5 yard penalty and replay the down. Ditto for defensive holding.

Didn't see it but I've seen a few terrible non-calls on facemasks over the last couple of years, not just in Pats games. How you can miss some kid getting his head screwed off is a mystery, but it seems to happen regularly.

Will never happen but maybe the league should take BB’s advice about having everything challengeable.

It was flagrant and potentially altered the game's outcome. If officials actually were watching the damn play one could assume the fix was in.

There was an official staring at it from the back of the end zone. Watching the entire play, their job is to watch the QB iirc. He stood there blank faced and did nothing.

Of course the "fix" was in. The "fix" is in most games. The Pats were just too good that it didn't matter and the league still tried to stop them by docking them two 1st rounders.

As far as on-field decisions go I don't believe that myself, as egregious as some of these things seem. The league penalizing the Pats' success is another story.

Watching Meyers make plays for the Raiders stings a bit.

I had a laptop and two televisions on, and wasn't enough to keep up with all the games as they were finishing this afternoon.

Lots of close scores in the early games, coming down to the last play.

- Browns beat Ravens 29-24 on 38-yard TD with 0:59 left to play

- Arizona beats Miami 28-27 on FG with no time left

- Jax ties score with 1:48 to go, Packers win 30-27 with FG with no time left, after 51-yard pass

- Colts appeared to win on 84-yard fumble, but refs make iffy call and say defender was down by contact; Houston wins 23-20

- Atlanta almost blows 14-point lead, hang on to beat Bucs 31-26

The only games that weren't close were Lions 52, Titans 14 and Eagles 37, Bengals 17

Queefs offense are finally back
They are playing the Raiders but may have been just the medicine they needed
