Run heavy would mean a lot of carries for Rham, every time he runs I hold my breath. LOL!

My hope is the next few weeks we can establish good enough leads where we can afford to test out guys like rham and pop. Be huge if they can finally get going. Vrabel has been really patient with these 2 (rham alot moreso), hopefully it pays off

It might also be the OC and playcalling. He could throw for 300 plus yards if he was airing it out all game. But they seem to want to have a short type passing game.

My guess is next year he may have more freedom to start throwing it downfield more.
And last year was a total wash as far as I'm concerned. It's so hard not to keep calling him a rookie QB lol

I'm sure Josh has reins on him but he's also being allowed to open it up a bit.

The letters W and R in front of any player's name gives PF2 hope.
Dam Tommy and I thought I wasn't Transparent.

Maye's longest pass so far this year is to a RB Rham: 53yds in Miami. I want to see Maye hit a WR in stride to the House.

Game will be a testament to Vrabel's coaching. Coming off a Sunday Night prime time win, before the game against the team the fired him. Obvious trap game. Of course, statistically there is zero evidence that trap games are a thing but doesn't mean they never happen.

Saints 1 win they were gifted 5 turnovers and then looking at passer rating against their defense

108.8 (Murray)
113.1 (Mac Jones)
154.2 (Darnold)
113.6 (Allen)
73.1 (Dart)

They can't stop the pass if it is not a rookie QB.
The Patriots should roll on offense vs any team that can't stop the pass.
Rattler is playing well, but keeping up with Maye is a tall task. 2 score victory is most likely unless Pats come out really, really flat.
Agree, high potential to be a trap game.

My other concern is the running game, now that the Pats have only 2 RBs plus FB Westover.

Don't want to see Stevenson and Henderson gassed by playing too many extra snaps, but at the same time don't want the offense to become too predictable with the formations and play calling, and relying too much on the passing game.

On paper New Orleans is a very beatable team, ranking in the bottom third in several categories.
