Patriots Pregame Thread Week 6: Pats @ Saints

Spencer Rattler got his FIRST victory as a starter. He has been inconsistent, making bad throws to open guys. Then he comes back and makes a Wow play showing starting nfl arm talent. And then some.

If he keeps improving, he can become a star. These stats don’t show his 21-31, 225 yards, 1 TD, 0 INTs from last game.

All we want him to do is hold onto the football; and convert some short yardage plays. Don't think we are asking for the moon here.

Jennings came in for the injured White and provided more juice. White has been by far the biggest disappointment this season. Psst. Jets are in desperation mode for a legit DE. And they’re very stupid. So give us Breece Hall for Mr Clean.

Yeah regarding Chaisson: I don't think we'll miss either White or Hawkings. I think we could do so much better than them.

Vegas seems like it would probably be a fun place for a SB too. But I can certainly attest that winning a SB and partying on Bourbon Street is as good as it gets.

Glendale, AZ wasn't bad for SB49 ("Malcolm Go!"). On the way home the next day, there was a storm in the northeast, so I got stuck in Atlanta trying to make a connection as did many other Pats fans, some still sh*tfaced from the night before, still wearing the lanyards that held the ticket to the game.
Every time I go thru ATL airport, I try to wear my 28-3 sweatshirt.. Yeah I'm that petty... Get plenty of dirty looks but nothing more.

That's what mediocre teams do all the time, they stun a better opponent especially in division then go and lay an egg against an inferior opponent.

If the Pats want to really become what we all hope they are post Buffalo then they have to go to New Orleans and win this game, good teams don't get too high after a big win then follow it up with a stinker.

Absolutely correct. This is where having a coach like Vrabel comes into play. For example go back to last season winning against Cincinnati and then the way mayo was allowing guys to boast. Then we loose the next week.

Diggs was already showing leadership and talking about how important it is to go down to NO and compete.

Chaisson is force of the edge he and Landry bring heat off the edges.. white.. yeah leaves more to be desired for sure.. Hawkins is actually solid and getting better..

Don’t get misled. If undrafted rookie Torricelli Simpkins III is forced to start again, Christian Barmore should OWN him on passing downs. Simpkins may be powerful but is not athletic enough in pass pro. Sorry, Baldy. Everyone likes feel good story.
