Nice to hear Sow is back at practice. I still don't know if taking Jordan out is the best for the OL though.
According to #'s, he's been the most consistent OL we have.
If they're committed to Onwenu at RT, maybe Sow should go back to RG where he played mostly last year.

Sounds like Wallace is starting at LT. Also, not great news.
But of all our options, at least he is young and should be able to improve with every day/practice he gets there.
(*wishful thinking*)
He'll certainly have a better shot at succeeding as a LT if all of his practice reps and coaching are as a LT. Doesn't guarantee anything of course but if you're serious about him flipping sides, then be serious about it.

Lowe or Wallace @ LT the Ghost of NIck Bosa 10 sacks what's the record in this joint??
I don’t understand why they put Wallace at LT. He’s proved at this point in his career he’s RT only. The best possible line up would be…

Lowe-Sow-Andrews-Onwenu-Wallace

I’d like to see this lineup for a game to see how well it blocks. Maybe Lowe and Sow will be healthy enough for the 49ers.

That OL should be Solid with that Interior L Robinson must have really been a weak link @ RG. I know our Tackles suck but our Interior have been abysmal.

It’s harder for a QB when the D is shooting through gaps up the middle. It’s better for the line to be weaker at T than G.

It does seem like the most natural lineup. What are they seeing that we aren't?

According to PFF the poorest performers are Robinson and Wallace followed by Onwenu. Jordan and Andrews were the best.

Not as big as DK Metcalf but still good size.

Pats have nobody like him.
Pst... Tyquan says hello.

SF injuries pilling up. Not saying NE will win, but the 49ers have much to consider atm.
That they might win by 10 and not 30?? I mean Teams have better things to do when preparing for these NE Patriots. I am sure the 49ers are looking ahead.

Was alluding to the fact that their starting QB is going for tests, their star RB is going to Germany for testing, they have possibly lost a DL for the year…. Not saying they are in peril vs weaker teams.

In wich I cannot understand how he's not involved in the game. He's not on the inactive list.
Why would your 7th receiving target be involved in the game?
Polk, Douglas, Henry, Thornton, Osborne, Gibson

Baker will get more targets when he shows the coaches that he is a more reliable and better WR than Thornton and Osborne. Personally, I didn't any reason for him to be active, four WR is plenty. Baker was probably active to give a message to both Baker and Boutte, especially with Bourne hopefully returning soon.

OK, I also believe thar Wallace will be a starter at RT, and I want us to start him at RT.
=================
That being said, I think that it is beyond silly to say that Wallace "has proved" that he will be a RT only player.
