I've asked Steeler fan friends what they thought of Rodgers. All but one of them hated the signing and don't want him in Pittsburgh. Surprised me.

Nah. I know a lot of Steeler fans. Hate to admit it but they're a lot like us. Knowledgeable. Blue collar. (Almost all Pats fans have a blue collar mentality when it come to football- regardless of profession,upbringing, intellect. That includes some Harvard and MIT professors who are Pats fans. Steeler fans same way. Most hated the Rodgers signing as pretty much all of us would).

He is, and has always been a terrible gameday coach.
He's also 8-11 in the playoffs and hasn't won a playoff game in 9 years.

This is a sneaky big game. Big because I feel like both teams will be hovering around the wildcard spots come December. Would be a nice tiebreaker win, and one either team would be glad to have in the bank.

Steelers could be hot or cold but certainly a winnable game if we clean up the penalties a bit and get Gonzo back.

Imagine the hype if we get this win, then there's the hapless Panthers... so potential to go into the Bills game at 3-1 which would be as good as anyone hoped for. Let's get that W!

Sounds like he's very close from Vrabel's last presser: Gonzo would make this Defense so much better.

Davis was very good at MIA. I think we have to have him on DK all day. Austin struggled, but still growing pains.
What we have to figure out is the TE coverage. We were toasted by Bowers, and MIA didn't have anything for TE, but Steelers will. I don't know if Mapu starts playing more in that Safety role, or Hawkins & Woodson figure it out, but something needs to be done in the secondary.

Before Bunny showed up yes Bill would be first ballot. Now it’s not as certain. His legacy took a beating after Brady left and an even more severe one after he left the Patriots until today.
