Assuming we end up with the 2nd seed who do you guys think ends up being our opponent in round 1?
It's Bills or Chargers if Pats beat Miami.

Interesting scenario because Bills could rest the starters and still beat the Jets but if they completely throw the game, they are doing it so they can play the Patriots instead of the Jags (assuming Texans and Jags win and they both play at 1 PM).

IF the Patriots win then the most likely opponent is the Chargers who likely rest Herbert and hand Denver the 1 seed. If Pats win and Chargers win we get the 1 seed.
The wild scenario is where the Bills try to lose to the Jets and repeat last year's Pats game.

What?
There are teams playing at 12pm local time, while we aren't playing until 4:25.
I think the Minn/GB & Indy/Hou games will start at 12:00 local time.

Can the Chargers go into Denver and pull of the upset, I give em a 50-50 chance. Wouldn’t be surprised if we end up with the 1 seed, can’t wait until next weekend.
Chargers will probably be resting a lot of players while Denver will be playing for the #1 seed.

Patriots/Miami is literally their best game on their schedule. Yuck.
The 1pm games look like I want to get some chit done around the house and then settle in for the 4:25p games.

I like the 1 pm time slot the bast. That’s 10 am for me and it’s a perfect way to start a Sunday. I hate waiting all morning till 1.25 my time .

Feel like we haven’t had a 3 PM game in 3 years. That’s almost probably accurate.

I wouldn't put it past them to make Dallas-NYG their premiere game.

Fox is in pure lust with the Cowboys; always has been, always will be.
I had that thought, too. Would they do that for a 1 p.m. game?

Damn - misread that initially - both the Pats and Broncs playing in the afternoon. I'm sure that's to make sure no one DOES sit any players

Go Chargers!

if we play at 4, and west coast teams play at 1, isnt that the same time?

The schedule posted says "ET", which is Eastern Time:

The only west coast games are the Rams (at 4:25 ET/1:25 PT) and 49ers (8:00 PM ET/5:00 PM ST Saturday). The Texans & Vikings home games are at 1:00 ET, which would make them start at 12:00 PM CT

Even if Houston and Jacksonville wins, LAC still have to keep up with Buffalo or else they slip to the #7 seed with a loss at Denver. I'm thinking LAC would rather go to JAX then back to Denver.
