Here we go...one more week of betting to prepare your bank roll for the playoffs. I am going to be mostly unavailable from now through Wednesday evening, so I wanted to get the results up asap today. If you think there is an error, let me know. I will make corrections and post them to the Thursday betting thread.

Crazy amount of jumbling in the rankings! 1960Pats has gone from the cellar several weeks back to a contender. Pat the Pats Fan has also made a steady climb to the top week after week. I expect big bets this week, so many of you can still claim the brown banner.

Lots to factor into the last week of bets. First, keep in mind that you will need $50k+ to qualify for playoff betting and cannot owe the Casino money. You also must bet at least 10% of your current bank roll each week. We are down to only two in the 100k+ club (RIng 6 and Froob). However, the regular season championship is still within reach for many. How you balance going for #1 vs maintaining a healthy playoff bankroll will be the decision each has to make.

Anyone below 50k, make bets (even if they are risky) to get above 50k. Whether you finish with 49k or 1k, you are guaranteed the 5k minimum carryover into next season. So go for it. If you are below 25k, you cannot get there with straight up bets. Try the prop bets with higher payoffs or multi game teasers.

Another thing to consider, the division winners and season passing leader will be determined at the end of next weekend's games. Some divisions have been decided. Below, shaded in yellow, I have posted the midseason prop odds on which there are bets made. Below that, I have posted each of you who have bets on these props. Any bets already won have NOT been added to your bank roll yet. I will do that with next weekend's results. In this chart, you can see what you have already won (Bengals and Chiefs division bets) and/or what you still may win depending upon next week's results. Pazrul72, for example, has already won $14k with his Bengals bet and is technically above the 100k mark! Lots of money still to be won on the passing yards bet and whether the Jete can do us a solid.

Other prop bets (Conference champ, SB, MVP, etc) will be added during the playoffs as each result is determined.

I will have the Week 18 betting thread up some time Thursday. There will be mostly Patriot-centric prop bets as usual. I will go over the playoff rules in next week's results thread.

Good luck, all. And if you need a 10k loan to boost up your final week of bets, just let me know!

I had $4k on Packers to cover spread in Week 17 but it shows me as DNP?

There is definitely an error on my bankroll. I did much better than +4900 for this past week. It should be +26,000. I did forget to quote all my bets when I put in the Monday night action.

PHIL (-3') 2K WIN
N.O. (-6') 2K WIN
LAR (-3') 5K LOST
G.B. (-6') 10K WIN

7-Point Teasers:

G.B. (+ ') & LAR (+3') 10K WIN
CIN (+12) & PHI (+3') 5K WIN

7-point teaser
:
Pitt (+10’) & Over (34) 2K WIN

The 7 pt / 2-game teasers come with a 0.8333 multiplier, so you won $23,300 for the week putting you at $95,300

There's a couple of other mistakes. We'll get this rectified and repost the standings.

I am glad I checked back in before disappearing for a while. Because of my rushing, my brain being fried, and futhermucking math, I had a shyt ton of errors.

Luckily, @venecol to the rescue with the correct results which have been corrected above. Sorry for the scare for some of you.

In case I haven't said it enough, I would be screwed without venecol's help this season.

Now leave me alone for a day or two!

Ok, thanks. It's like betting in a casino, I forgot. I thought the bets were (-120), which they are, but, as an example, I thought I'd lose 2400 vs. winning 2000. It's all good. Thank you for the clarification.
Edit: I would have made it easier for you had I known. Next time I'll bet 12K to win 10K :)

I can't believe you're complaining about me shorting you around $18k. What a whiner! :haha:

I believe I had Stafford at + 400 to win passing yards but could be wrong.

You could be wrong, but you are not. I ****ed up again. You have Stafford. Sorry again.

I think I need a bye week. Or a lobotomy

So I was looking at this and going oh my carr bet is still viable? I should go look at the numbers. He needs to have like a 500 yard game and Brady’s right arm to fall off in the first 5 mins of the first quarter. Bout as likely as the Jete doing us a solid and knocking off the Bildo’s I suppose but an extra 14k is pretty sweet so I am not complaining. Now for a game plan, bet 100k and go for the win? Or bet 50k to make sure I get in the playoffs. Decisions decisions

Don't forget, the leaders will be betting a lot as well. They can lose a lot of money this week.

Maybe bet enough to potentially get well above 100k but still stay above 50k is you lose them all. Do some teasers or prop bets with higher payoffs. Might get to 130k which could realistically win the season.

It will be tough for sure, but there has been a lot of big winners and losers each week.

And the playoff champion will also earn a banner. I'll leave it all up to you guys which title is more prestigious.

Not necessarily. This could be like the final question on jeopardy when the guy with big money bets a dollar cuz he knows right or wrong the others can’t catch him money wise. If I was Andy I would find one bet I had 90% confidence in, bet the 17k 10% bankroll requirement, and hope everyone else screws up. Hitting on that puts him close to 200k and untouchable for everyone except Froob.….or BGC hitting his miracle on Carr.

BGC actually has Stafford for +400 which is more likely than Carr. That 80k winner plus whatever he bets could easily pass Andy.

Plus, if Andy only bets 17k, Froob can easily jump him. As could you and several others. Consider this. A 30k bet on a 6 point / 4 bet teaser pays +300. That's 90k on a 30k bet. The top 6 can bet at least 30k and be safe for the playoffs. Even those who bet 20k could profit 60k.

How about +500 last week for Jonnu Smith to get a TD? 20k on that would net you 100k! Jakobi was +300, I believe, and he had a TD.

The bets this week will be very interesting. There are ways to stay safe for the playoffs and still go for it.

At only 60k, I am not going to risk more than 10k. I will just try to build my bank roll for the playoffs.

Ok ... I have 62.5 left ... What's the best return I can get?

If this week is like last week, you could put 62.5 on Jakob Johnson getting a TD at +1000. That would put you at $625,000. You would win.

I don't advise that bet though!

I am in a similar spot, and I am not going for the regular season title. I am going to build up my bank roll safely to prepare for the playoffs. Unless the same person wins both, we will have two champs declared. You have much better odds going on a great playoff run.

But if you want to go all in, there are better ways to go than betting on a Jakob TD. Bolden TD was +500 last week. All in on a +300 teaser would get you above 180k. Lots of options.

The betting thread will be up tomorrow.
