It’s insulting to the fans that have watched the game for years. Just get rid of the play already. Kicking into the end zone every single time also sucks balls. Again, I’d rather see them just cut special teams players altogether and spot the ball. It’s not football and a complete waste of viewing.

It also makes no sense why Folk was cut. With moving the ball up he could of done kickoffs with the new rules.

It removes an important strategic option -- kicking short to force a return. As you say, they might as well just do away with kickoff returns altogether at this point.
