I think Shanahan made a masterstroke by only playing him towards the end of the season. There is not yet enough game tape on him for DCs to actually gameplan for JG and SF will go with a lot of hype into the offseason.

It will take at least the first half of the next season to see on what level JG really is and if he can really thrive or teams figure him out.

They lost to an even worse KC team in 2014. Patriots don't start playing until week 5. You should know this by now. They could literally take the first quarter of the season off every year, without a single week of practice, and come back in week 5 and easily dominate teams en route to a SB victory.

Coming off a superbowl and a season 5 weeks longer than the rest of the league they took it real easy on the starters in preseason so the 1st 4 games were very rough. Even now I see them basically pitch counting some of the players and I am fine with that.
