This post game is horrible.

It's all this "shout out to Ray-Ray" kind of ****.

This chiefs here shows what made our dinasty so incredible

As much is easy to hate BB on his late stages here, keeping the Pats on top for TWENTY YEARS is absurd. It goes to show how coaching staff needs to be great for long term sucess

Finding Wrs/TEs in picking late in rounds, having to deal with lineman in and out, keeping a great D# with so many different pieces

I think the Chiefs will turn it around, it is week 1 after all... but it took until Brady was 42 for the wheels to start to fall off here

Brady is Mt. Everest. Mahomes...meh, Mt. Washington. Maybe one more SB but no more. The gimmicks only take you so far. Thanks for playing!

See I don't think they will. As I have stated they have been on a downward trend for almost a year now. The blowout in the SB really put a dent into them. Their roster is worse than last seasons on both sides of the ball.

Yeah, he's not done yet, but...I find it highly unlikely he'll wander into the same zip code as Brady.

Just goes to show how goddamned hard it is in this league.

Even with what came before and what has since come after, we are blessed as a fanbase to have lived through the greatest football dynasty we're likely to see in our lifetimes.

I so agree ! I'm still in awe when I reflect on the perfect storm of the Brady, Bellichick and Kraft years.

The thing i took away from this game is even with no skill players of note in the game for KC it still came down to the last possession and they were breathing down the Chargers neck all game long. To me this showed the massive difference between a great QB like Mahomes a good one like Herbert.

That all being said, I want to be clear KC was fortunate tonight with how the football bounce. A pick 6 dropped, a bonehead play by the RB and failure from LAC as a whole to end that half properly. Mahomes made a few other questionable plays that went their way. And that absolute blown coverage on that Mahomes bomb to what's his name when he was retreating from Mack.

Yes Mahomes and KC is the best improv team in the NFL, but they paid for none of those borderline plays tonight. So that needs to be kept in mind as well.

Picking late year after year will tend to sap the team of top tier talent. Those first 20 guys have very different ratings than the guys at the end of the 1st round.

So the Chiefs are also now trading for talent.

You can see the deterioration.

The other problem is that Andy Reid is getting on in years, and he's not exactly in the best condition.

The KC pass D is a sieve and Chris Jones is fat and happy with that contract.
Jones and Kelce are wrong side of 30
Mahomes has not been great since 2022, probably time to accept he’s not great anymore. I’d take Herbert over him going forward.

KC just doesn’t scare teams like they used to. Do Rice and Worthy make you game plan for them? No. Hill and Kelce are gone or done. Mahomes is not the same. Just a question whether defense and Andy Reid play calling can keep them at the top of AFC or Mahomes from 2022 shows up..
Ravens or Bills are the top dogs in AFC now,

Mahomes isnt getting the calls anymore either.

Taylor Swift is a curse. Last night proved it.

9/14 Eagles @ KC should be a win for KC.
9/21 @ NYG is probably another win, but I am very high on Dart.
9/28 Ravens @ KC is a loss for KC.

The league needs to put an end to this stuff. Kermit can’t have it both ways.
