It is Winter in NE and I love the thought of a snow game, but it would obviously hurt BRady's stats and give the Jets a much b etter chance

Last year's lost to the Jet's cost the Pats a game at home against the Colts and possibly a trip to the SB. Blame the field, the weather or stinkn Gabriel for fumbling that ball.

The Pats only need 1 out of 3 remaining games in order to clinch HFA.

Tom Brady has played in the elements of Foxboro since 2001. It's not like he hasn't seen snow before or had trouble performing in it. Oh for those insinuating that there will be a sloppy field out there, think again. We installed field turf last year. There will be no mud and slop on the field.

God,

I don't ask for much but please have one hell of a blizzard hit Foxboro come Sunday. It is the only thing that could possibly slow them down.

Thanks.

Exactly, it's my one hope for Sunday.

I know that rain isn't enough to stop a game, although lightning, IIRC is.

Are there any other rules regarding when games cannot be played? [At least one forecast I've seen is predicting freezing rain/sleet.]

This game just got moved to 4:15 from it's original 1pm scheduled start. The bad weather is supposed to come in the afternoon. Hmmm...

Ummm, when was this game moved?

The game was never moved from what I can tell.

The Miami game was moved, however....

I haven't seen any evidence of this yet, but the game is eligible to be moved to the 4:15 time slot.

Whether or not it is, is another matter entirely.

No it is NOT eligible to be moved.
And even if it were, which it isn't, games cannot be moved less than a week away.

Brady's so hot right now, the snow will melt

OK, according to NFL policy on the matter Flex Games, with the exception of Week 17, must be exercised and announced 12 days prior to the actual rescheduling. On Week 17, it's 6 days.

Whether or not this only applies to NBC and their exercise of Flex Games, or whether it applies across the board to CBS and Fox, I'm not sure. It does not jeopardize the double header set up, it just posits a different time for that game.

Still and all, the game at least was eligible for "Flexing"....

I'll be back after some more research....

Some of you who are wishing no storm because it will effect Bradys stats should be more worried that it doesnt lose them the game. Lets not forget last years monsoon. A bad weather game will give us a better chance to win this game. HERES TO A STORM!!! CHEERS!!

That too. Anything freak gives the Jets a slightly better chance than more predictable and standard conditions.

There is no chance that the game gets changed to a 4:15 start, NFL policy is that the league needs to give atleast 13 days notice to change the time of a game. For instance the Jets game would of had to of been switched on or before Tues. Dec 4.

Let it snow! Go Pats!

Looks like the forecasters had this PRETTY CORRECT!! Was hoping for an early storm Sat night..but...
