While the New England Patriots 2022 season remains months away, things are far from around Gillette Stadium this offseason as an extensive renovation project begins.
Back in December, the Patriots revealed ambitious plans to renovate the stadium’s north side and bring improved access on all levels.
One major change resulting from this construction work is the original lighthouse structure will be replaced by a much larger structure that will include an observation deck and accessible year-round.
On Tuesday, the Patriots shared a video update from the renovation project that shows the demolition of the lighthouse.
The north-side construction work is expected to be completed prior to the start of the 2023 NFL season.
