You all *saw* him play the last three years, right?Trade 3 to Bears for #8 , Justin Fields and their 2nd rounder this year and 3rd rounder next year .
Bears get Caleb and MhJ in same draft .
We can get 2 OT and WR in top 35 and justin fields.
The problem is we dunno if daniels is a game changer . His draftvstock is similar to fields and fields was not in a great placem considering the revival of Goff, mayfield and Smith in seahawks who know justin fields could be our drew Brees.Where is all this love for Justin Fields coming from, suddenly? Then why not get even more trade assets and run it back with Mac Jones? Why get Justin Fields and win maybe 2 more games? The problem is we dunno if daniels is a game changer . We lack so much in talent and we cannot put our young QB right away to play this year . So we punt on fields and if he screws up we draft high again next year . At least we have other trade assets that we got from our 3rd position.
If you are trading down you need to maximize the return, this is a bad return, basically a 2nd this year and a 3rd next year for the right to draft the #1 prospect in the draft in MHJ? No way!.Trade 3 to Bears for #8 , Justin Fields and their 2nd rounder this year and 3rd rounder next year .
Bears get Caleb and MhJ in same draft .

If bears do not agree to this , trade our 3rd to chargers 5th and their 2nd this year and 2nd next year .
I would only do it if 1: The QB at #1 is one that they believe can be an absolute stud. And 2: They'd take our #1 pick this year and our 2nd round pick and a 4th or 5th round pick in next year's draft (as we could address Tackle in the 2nd round in this draft).A trade up from 3 to 1 should not be ludicrously expensive, especially since pick 3 would be MHJ who is still a 1st overall pick-level talent. I bet the Pats could get that done with just sending this year’s 2nd. Granted, that’s still a pretty high pick, but you’d be able to get the specific QB you want. I wouldn’t do it, as the Pats need that pick too badly.
That actually sounds good if the QB at #3 isn't going to be a stud.Trade 3 to Bears for #8 , Justin Fields and their 2nd rounder this year and 3rd rounder next year .

I think that underestimating smart people is a mistake. Maybe it's just me.Does he look like someone who has experienced enough to even know what he does not know in being a head coach? Buckle up.
BAP at a very important position. If Caleb and Maye are gone and MHJ is there, do we pick Daniels over him?
Not sure I'm a fan of that. Pick the best available player.
It should be a firing offense for someone to believe that we can draft a WR at 3 and somehow still get Daniels (or probably even Nix). Our second and a 2025 first would get us close to Daniels.Drafting MJ H at 3 and coming back for Nix or Daniel’s has to be The plan .
The 33rdTeam had an article a year or so ago about positional values in the 1st round based on existing contracts, and 2nd contracts. The top positions w/ the greatest value were:Position needs to be taken into account and when you consider Best available player. By pure best player logic, you could end up with a kicker in the first round if he’s a stud prospect. 2nd/third best quarterback is more valuable than best player at pretty much any other position.
I think that would get it done if he falls out the top 10.It should be a firing offense for someone to believe that we can draft a WR at 3 and somehow still get Daniels (or probably even Nix). Our second and a 2025 first would get us close to Daniels.
He's definitely not. Lamar was a better passer and runner. Daniels is allergic to the MOF while Lamar is one of the best anticipatory mof passers in the league. Opposites in that aspect. Daniels is better throwing deep/boundary but nothing else. Including pre/post snap. As a runner Daniels exposes himself to much bigger hits and isn't as elusive. He's 3 years older and was throwing to 1st round picks. I would hope his "stats" would look better but he's not close to Lamar. Or AR15 from last year.I don’t get the Daniels hate on this board at all. He’s the most accurate passer and by far the most explosive athlete at the position in the draft. Those numbers in the SEC are not an accident. He’s a better prospect than Lamar was coming out.
That would be giving Fields a 1st RD value. No.Washington will give up next year's #1 to get Williams, Bears get MHJ at #2. Then Pats auction #3 or decide between Maye and Daniels. That's most likely scenario other than Bears trading Fields and taking Williams. How about Fields and #9 for #3?
So, is it a good idea to plan that Daniels falls out of the top 10?I think that would get it done if he falls out the top 10.

Upgrade O L coach sign some OT in free agency or trade a late rounder for a vet on a cash strapped team. So, is it a good idea to plan that Daniels falls out of the top 10?
BTW, that would mean no OT until the 3rd, a really, really bad idea.
Wow this would be incredible.Trade 3 to Bears for #8 , Justin Fields and their 2nd rounder this year and 3rd rounder next year .
Bears get Caleb and MhJ in same draft .
We can get 2 OT and WR in top 35 and justin fields.
If bears do not agree to this , trade our 3rd to chargers 5th and their 2nd this year and 2nd next year .
We have two 2nds?Agreed! So I've pitched the idea what do you think about taking Marvin Harrison Jr. At #3, a LT at #33 , trading a 2nd for fields?.
Looks like he got marginally better. Not like the jump Allen made from Yr 2 to Yr 3.Justin Fields Stats, Height, Weight, Position, Draft, College | Pro-Football-Reference.com

I'm completely serious. He was better this year, a little. 86 passer rating to 78. But neither one of them is close to league average.
