There are a lot of people (you even see it here) in every fan base that just do not care about ethics or morality. They built Ray Lewis a statue in Baltimore. There are still tons of Vick fans. Big Ben is revered in Pittsburgh. There are tons of Chiefs fans despite what a disgusting pile of steaming poo Tyreke Hill is. If a Patriots player did what he did and was still employed by the Pats, I would be an ex Pats fan. I can't support evil people just because they are wearing my team's uniform and might help get them a win or two. A lot of people have no such moral standard.
