Vince Young considered retirement after rookie season

This is a perfect example of why the NFL needs a cap on rookie and first round signings. To give these youngsters a pile of money and more than the vets when they haven't played a down in football creates an enormous problem for them psychologically. Its true, most can handle it but it really sets a bad precedent.

He'd do the Titans a favor by retiring. He's holding back a very good football team from taking the next step. That defense is good enough to compete for a championship, too bad they'll never win one as long as the human interception/fumble is quarterbacking their team.

He's a poor man's Daunte Culpepper.
