Vince Lombardi trophy should be renamed the Bill Belichick trophy if patriots goes 19-0 its only fair.
What would it take for the NFL to rename the trophy.

Not gonna happen, and it shouldn't. Maybe I'm old school, but Lombardi is, and was, IMHO, the epitome of an NFL Coach.

Bill Belichcik woud be appalled. Not at renaming the Trophy though. If he had his way it would have been called called the Paul Brown Trophy without a doubt, from the very beginning.

There probably ought to be a Trophy awarded for the Coach of the Year. That should be the Paul Brown Trophy.

I am in complete agreement. Paul Brown did more to create the modern NFL than anyone else in its history, followed perhaps by Rozelle and Bill Walsh (a Paul Brown disciple).

P.S.: Is it just me, or is the SB trophy somewhat underwhelming-looking? The Stanley Cup (the greatest trophy in the world) and the World Series trophies are both cooler.

Yeah you can drink beer out of one and wear the other one as a crown. The NFL trophy is made for, what? Holding over your head.

The Lombardi trophy is kinda plain when compared to the other sports.
