Saw it on ESPN. Though I think the Patriots are looking for a veteran backup, I hope that they would not consider Jackson. I would choose Rosenfels over Jackson. Vikings are going to have to get rid of one of their young QBs in order to keep Favre. If I could, I would offer a 6th or 7th rounder for John David Booty, but I don't think the Vikings want to trade him. If Favre doesn't win them the Super Bowl, Childress is going to look like an idiot. Well... more of an idiot.

He certainly has some skill and might be a good fit, I think I'd prefer Feeley or McCown but I think Jackson would be a better than Walter from what we've seen so far.

Jackson doesn't fit our system whatsoever IMO

Tarvaris Jackson has a strong arm and a very quick release.

I think in the right system and a little time, he would be a very good backup QB.

A couple things

1 Can you people give Walter a chance, omg, he has not played that much....

2 Jackson sucks.. He is awful, and has done squat in the leauge.. NO thanks...

:yeahthat:

Yup. Concur.

me three.................... We just got over the last "C-Jack" experiment, so I'm not really all that excited at starting the "T-Jack" one.

Yeah, but he'd also cost alot more. There is no value in speding up to get him. There ain't much diffrence, except Walter is a good decision maker, and T-Jack has yet to prove the same. In our system that is a prerequisite.

I agree. As a matter a fact we had a QB whose game aspires to be Tavaris Jackson's game, Kevin O'Connell. Both fashion themselves as RBs who also play QB, occasionally. They both like to run around helter- skelter looking for a running or passing opportunity.

Kevin doesn't play for the Patriots any more.
