Vereen or Price - Which player are you more eager to see play after the bye?

Some are waiting to see what Vereen can do in the running game while some are waiting to see if Price is going to be that valid 3rd or 4th receiver down the road.

Which of these two players are you more eager to want to see play?

I went with Vereen,Namely because the receiving corps we have right now is great and we have done well without Price and when the winter comes I want to see a prominent ground game develop and a full RB group would be a good thing for Brady to shave some responsibility off his throwing shoulder.

Price for sure as we need some help there incase of injury or even a off day by one of the top guys.

Vereen i am not sure - the main thing we ask is blitz pickup as a 3rd down back and i will be worried if he is in there. I saw benny pick up DL and DE this year and i am happy with that. ridley has not been asked to do it.

i am hoping is benny is back, he seems to have suddenly become more patient and knows how the blocking is talking place. He know what his lineman are doing and punching it in.

Exactly. BJGE is on fire right now, and we know Ridley is a nice change of pace when we need him. Plus Woodhead, and now Faulk (are we forgetting how great of a receiver/blocker this guy is?)

Definitely Price is the answer... really hope he can get out there soon.

I'm personally more intrigued by what Vereen might do from the line of scrimmage. He's potentially quite explosive.

I understand why some want this high potent passing game to maybe be more lethal than it already is,but I am a HUGE fan of running the ball when the weather gets colder when the games get even more important and more experienced depth in the backfield and a fresh rotation of backs is just what this team needs to go deep in the playoffs.

Exactly. BJGE is on fire right now, and we know Ridley is a nice change of pace when we need him.

I'll just note that one of the sacks on Sunday is clearly on BJGE who needed to help out Matt Light on a block and essentially whiffed.

I want to see Vereen mainly because our KR has sucked this year and we have no better options. I doubt we're going to see him though especially now with Faulk practicing again.

I can't see what Price would bring to this team right now that 85 can't or where he would help us significantly more. Maybe try him at KR too.

If I had to choose one, Vereen.

well, what price could potentially give that Ocho cant is a deep threat...the guy is fast and has good hands. I remember him taking a short 10yard pass in the pre-season just taking off and turning it into a 50yard gain

with Faulk coming back, BJGE, Woodhead and now Ridley finding the rotation....I dont really see a need to put Vereen out there.

Taylor Price can help us if he can get out there for 20-30snaps and grab a couple deep balls all he has to do is give a little more production than Ochocinco and run his routes right...which shouldnt be that hard to do

Bill Parcells said he could see Taylor Price as the breakout player for the Pats this year...thats something coming from that guy

Vollmer, Brady has been getting the sh!t kicked out of him the past couple weeks.

i want to see more explosive running. I like BJGE, he is steady eddie, but i like to see the occasional home run threats. I saw the potential from Ridley on a few occasions, and from what we know from the draft Vereen is even more of a home run threat.

Then again it seems like Hillis is available. I would love to see a monster like him pound the ball for us.

If Vereen was the force most seem to think he is don't you think he'd have been returning a few KOs? The Occam's Razor (simplest) answer is that he has failed to impress the staff in practice vs the other contenders to the point that they're motivated to put him on the field.
