There have been a lot of threads about the AFC race and who has the inside track. Here is the view of Vegas, give or take a some percentage points due to the vig.

Wild Card Race

Kansas City Chiefs - 93% chance to make playoffs
Pittsburgh Steelers - 81% chance to make playoffs.
New York Jets - 36% chance to make playoffs

AFC South Race

Indianapolis Colts - 60% chance to make playoffs
Houston Texas - 36% chance to make playoffs
Jacksonville Jaguars - 14% chance to make playoffs

Odds that all three favorites (Indianapolis, Pittsburgh, Kansas City) make the playoffs: 45%
Odds that at least one underdog (NY Jets, Jacksonville, Houston) overtakes a playoff spot: 55%

If Pitt and KC both go 11-5 who gets the 5 seed?

The Chiefs beat the Steelers in October, so unless there is some strange formula I am not aware of, it would be the Chiefs.

I could totally see the Chiefs losing to Indy/Houston after 10 straight wins. That would be so them.

Couldn't agree more but I think they could even lose before then. I am skeptical they will run the table...they are such a loser team with a loser coach and a loser QB; they are just like the Chargers, always disappointing when it matters. I am tempted to put money on them missing the playoffs.

Raiders in week 17 could tip them. Ravens and Browns are in shambles.

they still havent won a playoff game in 21 years,i suppose a Bengals v Chiefs playoff matchup would be good them as someones 20+ year playoff win drought would end
