Yep, and the story is that Brady wanted to sign with the Saints last year, but then Brees decided to **** block him at the last minute. Winston is not a capable NFL starter and Hill is suspect at best.

Wouldn't shock me - in fact I kinda almost expect - to see double-digit losses in NO this season.

The Saints messed up but not nearly as badly as some of the 49ers staff wanting to move Jimmy and sign Brady to replace him but then being overruled. And a year later want to move Jimmy for pennies on the dollar lmao.

Yeah…the Niners couldn’t have botched this worse if they tried. What an utter disaster…could have had Brady and a championship supporting cast and are instead left with an unwanted/ burdensome Jimmy G, a very raw prospect, and no first round pick until 2024.

Florio got into it today, and this is what I wrote about the Lance pick weeks ago. There was zero reason to turn the pick into an NSA secret, and the attempt to do so suggests it was a **** show decision process.

Florio acting as if both Lance and Jones were certain to be there at 12 is just Florio stirring the pot.

There's a lot of football being discussed. 2+ pages of no Lily.

I think we learned that Brady is a transformational player. He changed that entire org from the top down from perennial losers to the mentality of a champion and he did that in one season with no off-season. I think it was Dan Orloskvy that said Brady is the greatest "believer in" of any player in the history of the NFL.
Brady imbues confidence and conviction. All great QBs do that.

I would disagree. Very few actually do what Brady does especially given his level of success. Manning walked around like peacock and barked at everyone. Read some of Vinateri's comparisons on Manning and Brady and you will see the difference. Favre was an a-hole. A drama king who put himself over his team and his receivers (remember when Jennings wanted the new contract?). And then of course there is Rodgers who is probably just behind Roethesliberger in having the most teammates come out of any great QB and say what a jerk he is most of the time. That's just 4 off the top of my head. I would say Brady is the abberation especially when you consider his level of success. Just look at what Godwin said about him in today's column he wrote as he was filling in for Peter King. Can you imagine any of the QBs I just listed having 7 rings and behaving the way Brady did when he got to Tampa?

I don't consider any of those players great QBs.

They are great passers, gunslingers, stat-whores whatever you choose to call them.

Brady, Montana, Bradshaw, Elway, Graham, Starr, Staubach are in a different category

In the 2014 NFCCG and 2020 NFCCG, he was the reigning MVP both times with a combined 86:10 TD/INT ratio, and his defenses intercepted Wilson/Brady seven times. But I guess let’s blame the front office
Aaron Rodgers has to be the whiniest Quarterback to ever throw for 48TDs in a season.

And considering that list includes Peyton Manning that is saying something

At this point I feel like Rodgers could have a prime Moss, Rice, and Gronkowski and still complain that the Packers aren't giving even enough weapons when he chokes in the NFCCG

I think he is a guy who looks for minor slights and blows them out of proportion. I think his current temper tantrum all stems from the fact that they never drafted a skill player in the first round until last year - when they drafted a QB.

So he throws a temper tantrum at the fact that they don't draft 1st round WR's.... but this is a team that has a very talented WR corps, so who cares how they were acquired?

I think it's clear that his temper tantrum stems from being made into a lifelong beta **** by Tom Brady. Rodgers reads all the articles to get motivation and find slights; I have no doubt he read all about how this was finally his year, and that he probably believes that Brady truly is a system QB who won because of a superior organization and coach. This year was the ultimate chance for him to show that with the better coach, the objectively better team (prior to SB55 perception change), home field advantage, etc.

Those 4 - Favre, Rogers, Payaton & the Rapist - are indeed great QBs, but they're Not great Leaders or Winners.

Not sure I'd place Bradshaw & Horse Mouth in the same company as Brady, Montana, Graham, Starr & Staubach, however...

But this is all semantics anyway on my part...I otherwise completely agree with the sentiment.

As the board knows i've always been a big fan of Terry Bradshaw. I do think the man is a great leader and winner.

Great passer? Agree. Very debatable. It would be interesting to see how he would do in 2020s.
