It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Seems like every year some UDFA comes out of nowhere to make an impact for the Pats. Butler last year, Andrews this year. Anyone know how many UDFA's are on the Patriots roster and how that compares to the rest of the NFL? I've searched the web, but haven't found this info. Anyone know?
There are 6 that we signed as UDFA's following the draft on the 53 man roster:
Josh Kline
Ryan Wendell
Chris Harper
Nate Ebner
Brandon Bolden
David Andrews
How many rookies played the other night on offense and defense?
Ebner was a 6th rounder.
That's 25%! I wonder how that compares to the rest of the league. On the current 53:
RB Bolden*
RB Cadet
WR Amendola*
WR Harper - rookie
C Andrews* - rookie
G/C Kline*
G/C Wendell*
DL/LB Martin
DL Siliga*
LB Freeny
CB Butler*
CB Coleman - rookie
P Allen*
* = has contributed in a significant way for the Patriots. Freeny's ST play might be *-worthy as well.
So that's 13 UDFAs and 3 this year.

Ebner was a 6th rounder.
Remember the "WTF, BB drafted a rugby player?" Posts?
I think I saw Harper on the field once or twice but he didn't do anything. Andrews played the whole game at C, Jackson and Mason both played a lot but part-time. On defense, Brown started and Grissom played most snaps, a lot of them at DT after Easley went down. The others (Flowers, Coleman, Richards) were inactive.
I thought Allen was drafted as well.Ebner was a 6th rounder.
