UDFA, who do you like?

I'm sorry but our UDFA Class looks pretty $hity.

Yup.
Those are 3 guys I really woulda liked taking a swing at.
Karon Prunty better be the second coming I see so many other guys I would have taken over him. Our Day 3 Selections have some a such a BB feel: Wolf just couldn't help himself.

Our day 3 picks got Dianna Russini'd. No Vrabel = no bueno.

Can Rizy beat out Wallace?

Can Dixon beat out Chism?

Can Jacobs beat out Obiazor?

Not me.. Anyone that Patsfan2 is over-hyping and crying over the way he's crying over Caldwell is clearly over-rated.

What does Blay have to do with whether Jacobs makes the team? Blay is a DT. Jacobs is a LB. Blay would have to beat out Taylor, Pharms, and Gregory. Blay's 3-cone and Short Shuttle suck. He's got a decent Bench, but lacks explosion as seen by his 8'9 Broad. From Brugler's Beast, about the only thing Blay's got going for him is his hands and even those are a work in progress.

The Pats carried 5 DTs most of the year and they carried 5 LB once Tavai was healthy. It's highly unlikely that Blay makes the team.

Jacobs, on the other hand, is going against Britt, Muma, Obiazor, Hutchins, Reese, and Gainer. There are 7 guys for 3 spots. Britt, Muma, Reese, and Gainer all have Special Teams experience already. Britt and Muma have some experience taking defensive snaps that should give them the upper hand, but Special Teams will be the decider for all 3 LB positions behind the starters.

functional to good NFL athleticism
Good NFL size
Looks to have good hands - a hands catcher.
Good ball tracking skills.

It's hard to be too bullish on an UDFA WR, particularly one from such a small school but I do like Kyle Dixon and his chances to, at least, stick on the PS year one and graduate to the roster in year teo or three.

Who knows? I can't tell. The competition is so weak he is running limited routes, standing around, etc. and then outruns everyone which will not happen on the Pats. Tall, fast, and catches with his hands.

The other clips show Dixon being hit in stride and running over people. But, as you said, the competition was weak. I noted in my other post that Dixon wouldn't be running over people and that he didn't seem to attack the ball when it got to him.
