He is a beast. Totally physically dominated in game versus Boise state.
Can block and catch
Son of Gronk

Will be first rounder, would consider him at bottom of first if we trade back

Agree with this assessment, I think he’s had one of the best seasons in college football this year and would love to see someone like that on the Pats next season. I also see him as a first rounder.

So here’s a hypothetical for you. Say the Pats don’t trade back and take Hunter at #1, and Warren is still there at #23, 10 picks before the Pats next one. Do you trade up to take Warren but give up #33 + #81 (their 2nd and the Atlanta 3rd, this works using the draft value chart I saw on Draftek). I’d do it but am curious whether others would also.

Same hypothetical but for Simmons or Ersery instead of Warren. I think I’d do it for Simmons but not for Ersery, or would do it for Ersery plus something else (pick or player).

He looked really good out there yesterday. Seems like a Jimmy Graham type but young and willing enough to learn to block at a higher level. I don’t think he is the full package yet but he has the potential to be.

He stood out for sure
Definitely Allar’s first read

I was going to mention him a couple of weeks ago in one of the draft threads as one of my favorite players in this draft.
He is a beast but he's more than that. He may have passed Loveland, from Michigan, as the top TE. He's like the Deebo Samuel of TE's. He's going to be a problem.

Edit: I just wanted to add that Cam Skattebo (RB, Arizona St) is also one of my favorite players in this draft. Another beast.

Harold Fannin says hello had 213 receiving in his last game.

I like Fannin. He had a great season and will likely go before the second round is over but you can't compare a Aaron Hernandez type to a Gronk type. Fannin also crushed a bottom 10 defense in all of football in the last game.
I also mentioned Warren is one of my "favorite" players, not the best player.

Against Arkansas State. Not exactly the SEC or Big 10. R6 or R7?
On the real though we have the Slowest Offense in the NFL. We need Some X-Type Receivers. I think Harold Fannin is going in the Third Round the latest: his game should translate he's a Man among boys.

Probably will translate. Dugger and I think Mapu will translate. Similar situations, small schools with great production and athleticism. But it takes 2 years to translate.

I hope the Pats address the tight end position in the draft. Warren does seem awesome if he’s available by our second round pick. I want to see the team trade back throughout the draft to acquire more assets, I’m not really in favor of trading back into the first to get him if that’s what it costs though.

My middle daughter is a So. at Penn State and my youngest will be a Fr. there in the fall. Needless to say we are big PSU football fans and have watched every game.

LOVE Warren. His catch radius is massive. Very smart. Above average athletic ability. Sometimes he seems kinda stiff on routes but hes so freaking big I can understand. Seems like the separation he gets is more due to scheme than quickness, speed, etc. Looks like hes projected as a 2nd rounder.

Hes not a freak like Gronk.
Hes not as fluid route-runner as Kelce or Graham.
Hes not as athletic as Bowers/Winslow
Very good hands but not elite.
OK blocker

To me, he seems like a bigger, faster Dallas Clark.

Soph is Bio-behavioral health. Goal is to be a PA. She loves it there.

Current HS Sr is going in undecided. She's very smart and a hard worker. It'll be something in science.

Both are at Univ Park.

I can't say enough good things about Penn State

That describes Brock Bowers with the Raiders whom we could have drafted last year if we gave 3 to the Vikings.

Just imagine an Aaron Hernandez but as an inch taller Eagle Scout with even better speed.

And that’s why Brock Bowers is such a unique talent. Good enough to build an offense around.

Their game with Notre Dame should be epic. But I think the Fighting Irish will squeak by.

Brock Bowers is incredible but I don't think Warren is in his class - yet.

Points will be tough to come by but I see PSU squeaking by.

Stuff the box and make Reid beat them in the air. It'll be interesting to see if Love can give it a go.

We'll miss Carter but we'll miss him more if we face OSU.

Winner will lose to OSU.

Carter says he’s going to play. State College is a great college town. I graduated in 89. Good luck to your kids. Key to ND game will be turnovers. I think PSU’s offense can move the ball easier than ND’s. If PSU does lose turnover battle, I feel will win game. A couple of extra days rest doesn’t hurt either.

We need impact players. Regardless of position. Maybe, Tyler slides into 20’s. I doubt it.
